This crowdfunding platform is an initiative of the Wageningen University Fund. The fund was established in 1951 and is committed to the strengthening of education and research at Wageningen University. The Wageningen University Fund is recognized as a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI).

Since almost 100 years our staff and students have been motivated by the desire to contribute to society. "Science for Impact" is what inspires us. We contribute to solutions to major social issues such as world food security, climate change, the development towards a circular economy, conservation of nature and biodiversity and reducing poverty.
